Integrative Psychotherapyfor Meaningful Change

IntegrativePsychotherapyfor MeaningfulChange
Treating adults with trauma, anxiety, panic, burnout, depression, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, or other life challenges.
Originally from Germany, I am a U.S. and Swiss-trained Clinical and Counseling Psychologist (FSP) currently based in Lausanne. My clinical practice is focused on treating adults with trauma, anxiety, panic, burnout, depression, grief, medical illness, or other life challenges. I am also an affiliate counselor with ESCA Cancer Support in Geneva, where I wholeheartedly support clients and their families navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
My integrative therapeutic approach is culturally informed and grounded in humanistic, psychodynamic (depth-oriented), and process-based cognitive-behavioral approaches. In addition, psychosensorimotor psychotherapy and trauma-informed yoga are somatic-oriented interventions used to help clients tune into their body’s wisdom.
Central to effective psychotherapy is connecting with someone with whom you can freely explore your past and present. I am deeply committed to creating a non-judgmental, warm, therapeutic space in which you can openly reflect on your inner world or practice a new way of being. I always work from a place of empowerment by cultivating strengths to build resilience. So should you choose to go on this journey of self-discovery and healing, I am here to remind you of your inner strength.

Philosophy
I offer a supportive, empathic, and safe therapeutic space where your unique life narrative can be witnessed and explored. As an integrative psychologist with a deep commitment to social justice, I not only consider biological, relational, emotional, physiological components to health and well-being, but also the ways in which social, cultural, and spiritual influences shape the human psyche. Further, I believe in the integration of mind and body to promote wholeness, authenticity, and a sense of aliveness.
Therapy should never be a privilege but accessible to everyone. If you are interested in psychological support but do not have the financial means, I am able to refer you to a free counseling service where I supervise counselors-in-training.
